Really appreciate the movements of the stylus going in and out of the socket and tilting. That and the light & shadow effects on the DS made this feel very lifelike!

Your art is incredible! I find it fascinating how you make it look so polished from far away and yet once I zoom in I see the magic in action. It feels very different from how I usually work because I often zoom in too much or polish uneeded parts when working, so I guess I could say your strokes feel very purposeful to me. It kinda reminds me of the visual tricks that can be used in pixelart to let the viewer's mind complete certain details of the image, but in much bigger resolution!

I specially like the care you put into their heads/faces as that's what makes it all feel right and cohesive for me. The soft lines & colour palette also make the characters feel really lively :)

The antialias and checkerboard on this one really gives a strong impression!

I made it that way because I love white-on-black pixel art. It's just so good. And with 607D88 making it look pretty cold and giving the umph by being the shading part. It turned out awesome. With the checkerboard, I used mostly lower colored 607D88 (so it blends with the black background)

I can really see that Yoshi Island inspiration! But my mind also went to Master of Disguise as a first impression.

I'm really loving all these costumes they are giving to the characters lately for the sport games. They remind me of the Mario Party 2 in a way. Could be cool to get a new one where you can customize them a bit.

Yeah, I think it's the attitude of the drawing that reminds me more of it, rather than the treatment of the lines, so it could be interesting if you ever tried to replicate that as well! I also could never get into this game because it felt slow compared to Wario Land. If I remember right, both the gameplay and the story made too many interruptions.

I can kind of see the Master of Disguise. Tho that game's art style has some really thick black lines. Would love to give that style a shot sometime. I don't really like that game which is an anomaly amongst Wario games for me but I love the key art's style and all of the designs for Wario's different costumes.

Tots agree, love that Nintendo is finally ok again with giving their characters more fun game specific costumes!
